This is one of the beginner exercises we use in the Foundation Movements System to build solid, stable and perky as glutes in a very short time.
This also works your core muscles heaps because there's an element of balance involved.
Glute exercises and booty exercises are essential for hip stabilisation and balance. If you're bodybuilding or strength training you need to prioritise glutes!
Any good weights training program should also hit the hamstrings with a variety of deadlift variations.
We have heaps of great videos that will teach you how to deadlift. This exercise is the single leg deadlift dumbbells. It is one of our favorite beginner glute exercises. Single leg training is also one of our favorite functional exercises, and it will help improve hamstring flexibility.
